In 2006, Argyll
Holidays' parks received a tremendous tribute
from the David Bellamy Environmental Award Scheme
– when they were awarded Gold Conservation
Awards, a special accolade for protecting and
enhancing the natural world. For a second year running Professor David Bellamy
has awarded Loch Eck Caravan Park, Loch Eck
Country Lodges and Stratheck Holiday Park with
the prestigious Gold Award for Conservation. |

The
celebrations don’t stop there, not only
have the aforementioned parks topped the bill
with a Gold Award for the second year running,
Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village, St. Catherine's
Caravan Park and Hunter's Quay Holiday Village
have all been awarded a Gold category in their
first year of participation in the scheme, making
a total of six in a row for the group. |

Cowal Leisure was delighted at this environmental
recognition when their parks were named as six
of the UK’s most environmentally friendly
holiday parks.
