| Our Objectives |
| Our principal goal is to "to promote
Dunoon and Cowal by every possible means". This
incorporates the following objectives: |
- To raise awareness of the area by
advertising and producing promotional
material.
- To communicate with all interested
parties such as VisitScotland, AIE, Forestry
Commission Scotland, MPs and MSPs.
- To help improve the presentation/
quality of amenities in the area.
- To work towards new and improved
signs/signposting to and in the area.
- To encourage events and projects within
the area.
- To develop better advertising and
communications so as to attract more
European and overseas visitors.

| Membership |
| Annual membership of the Dunoon and
Cowal Marketing Group costs £20. For more information,
email info@cowal-dunoon.com. Membership benefits
include:
- Over the next year we will be continuing to develop
and upgrade our new Website. A questionnaire to
collect advertising information to go on the site
was sent out to all local businesses. This can still
be completed online.
- We provide a free map and monthly what's on diary
that is distributed to 100 outlets throughout Cowal.
- Our new partnership with the local Council allows us to raise
our concerns directly with them at our joint meetings.
