We are the only chandlers and Marine Engineering workshop in Cowal, the nearest being Inverkip or Largs. We are set within the Holy Loch Marina and are open 7 days a week in the sailing season. We provide a year round service for our customers, whether it's for marine clothing, equipment, ropes, paints, hardware etc. Our in house Engineer is always available for any emergency or repair work, no matter how big or small.

Toward Moorings and Towage Ltd offers:
design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of moorings in the Clyde and Clyde Lochs. It has stocks of all mooring materials, carried on our powerful well-equipped workboat. We have good used moorings for sale and can give advice and assistance on any aspect of moorings.

Tents and Events offers high quality Clearspan Marquees throughout Scotland, with a first class professional service, together with all ancillary services associated with events such as heating, lighting, specialist lighting, staging, furniture hire, PA systems and toilets.

We offer full event support for all occasions, from weddings and garden parties to large corporate events and conferences.

Hats and fascinators for any occasion – Ascot, tea parties, formal occasions and weddings, with items suitable for the bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride.

I work from home selling direct to customers and through formal dress shops around Scotland. I stock a collection of my work at Elite Clothing and Footwear, Argyll Street, Dunoon.

The Smiddy at Strachur is a good example of the many smiddies, which flourished in Argyll during the 19th and early 20th Centuries. Restored in 1997, the original forge, farming tools, hammers and anvil can still be seen.
The smiddy shop showcases local crafts.
